The LED lights are now installed below the gunwales on the starboard and port sides. These lights, when turned on, cannot be seen during the day but at night they glow in all their brilliance. I received my SeaDek (Storm Grey color) and it was off to the boat for the install! The cuts are difficult to make without a dedicated work area that is set up for precise measurements. The job may not be professional but I think it is certainly “good enough”. The entire boat appearance has changed with the addition of the SeaDek. The material cleans up nicely with a stout bristle brush and a mixture of water and Simply Green. I’m not sure how the SeaDek will hold up to foot traffic … time will tell. One thing is for certain, the 5mm thickness definitely provides a cushioned feel to the feet. Some common sense rules on foot apparel used in the boat will likely significantly increase the wear of the SeaDek floor. The SeaDek applied to the other areas of the boat, I am very confident that it will last for several years at least.
